ABOUT
Pier A Pilates is a weekly exercise class at Pier A in Hoboken, NJ that promotes community building, wellness, and public park use. Starting in June 2022, the free, donation-based class is open to all and teaches advanced somatic practices, including Pilates, yoga, barre, and more. The hour-long class will be taught as a group, and there will be upbeat exercise music.

Make a reservation... or just show up!
WHAT TO BRING
Anyone interested in attending should bring (1) a mat or towel, (2) water, and (3) a great attitude! You may also want to bring sunglasses and sunscreen to protect yourself from the sun.

MEET THE TEAM
CREATIVE DIRECTOR
& LEAD INSTRUCTOR
Kennyth Montes de Oca (pronouns: they/them) is a celebrity trainer and certified Pilates instructor with more than six years of experience teaching in the NYC area, including Impact Hoboken, Crunch Hoboken, and Sarah Brooks Pilates.
SENIOR YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Isabella Vergara (pronouns: she/her) is a certified Yoga instructor with more than five years of experience teaching in the NYC area. She is a faculty member of the Ballet Hispanico School of Dance.
SENIOR STRENGTH iNSTRUCTOR
AurΓ©lie Garcia (pronouns: she/her) is a strength, cardio, and barre instructor with more than five years of experience teaching in the NYC area. She is also a dancer with MOMIX.
ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR
Laura de la Garza Noble (pronouns: she/her) is a volunteer assistant. She is also a teaching artist and performer for OCA Dance Company. In her tenure as a dancer, Laura has performed in Mexico, the UK, Texas, California, NJ, and NY.
ADMINISTRATIVE DIRECTOR
Matthew Cunningham (pronouns: he/they) is a digital strategy specialist and administrator with more than five years experience with strategic management, creative collaboration, and design thinking.
MARKETING MANAGER
Shelsie Fernandez (pronouns: she/her) is a marketing student at Drew University. She loves exercising and wellness, and she has experience in brand management, marketing strategy, and community building.
